Jennifer Melvin,LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Jennifer has been a therapist for nearly 25 years, with a specialization in Grief and Bereavement for the last 20. She is highly experienced in helping people during transitions of life: Launching into young adulthood, single parenting, empty nesting, retirement and losing a loved one.
Grief:
"Through the years I have been an international trainer and speaker on grief, written a children's book to explain death, authored a number of articles for a newspaper, facilitated children and adult grief groups for hospices and helped thousands of individuals get through their grief. I can speak the language of grief in my sleep and absolutely love it. The more complicated the better for me to help with. My certifications and experience with suicide, traumas and losses help in my work but my genuine care for my clients is what makes a significant"
She wants to help people regroup and rebuild themselves!
Divorce & Retirement:
"The challenges of aging, divorce and death are areas I focus on a lot. After a spouse has died or the divorce has happened or you're facing being a single parent or retirement, mostly it all comes down to---who am I now! This is a magical time of life and I love being part of their journey as they make it their own."
20 somethings:
Young adults spend so much time on figuring out their career, relationships, their family system and themselves. It's hard to juggle it all, especially on their own.
"That's where I come in. With coaching and counseling we work together to discover more of who they want to be, what they want to be doing and the path for how to get there"
